Archery instruction:
Shooting properly and accurately
is the core to successful hunting. Weather hunting with a bow, rifle,
shotgun, crossbow, or a throwing rock, if you can't shoot, you can't
hunt
TJS outdoors can teach you the proper stance, holds, release and
drawing techniques that make successful bow hunters. Once you have
a mastery of these core skills, you can advance to other aspects
of shooting which include off balance shots, "shaping"
a shot over an obstruction, leaning shots, odd positioning shots,
long shots, high angle shots and so on.

Archery instruction is available year round by appointment.

TJS Outdoors Archery instruction program also teaches you to properly
tune and maintain your equipment. There are no bow shops in the field,
thus these skills are mandatory for the successful hunter. You will
learn to set your rest on two axis in the field, aligning sights to
the centerline, string accessory mounting including peep sights, knock
point and release mounts. These skills coupled with maintainance and
shooting techniques help make the complete bow hunter. |
